Tulum, Mexico Instituto Chac-Mool

Explore Tulum and Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula

For Instituto Chac-Mool students who would like guided activities on the weekends, full day excursions will be scheduled for an additional fee.

There are also many local tour operators that will take you scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, kiteboarding, sightseeing, fishing, boating, kayaking, parasailing, ziplining, zipcycling...just about anything fun in the sun. Plus there are eco and water parks, white sand beaches, Mayan ruins and cenotes.

From Tulum pueblo, the beach is accessible by bike using the "ciclepista" dedicated to bicyclers and walkers. Plus a school shuttle will provide transport to the beach most days of the year. Check out our "Getting around the Riviera Maya" section on this website.

Tours of the local Mayan ruins and Xel-ha aquarium park will also be arranged, plus these are easy for students to visit on their own.
